White cliffs and the South Downs

Join us on a full day guided tour as we walk part of the Seven Sisters, one of the Natural Wonders of Britain and visit one of England’s oldest villages in the South Downs National Park.

South Downs is known as the ‘gateway to England’ – its rolling green hills, globally important chalk grassland, ancient woodland, dark night skies, wildlife-rich heathland and windswept cliffs represents people and nature at their best.

In the village we will walk down its medieval narrow, twisting High Street, have a cuppa in a cosy teashop or grab lunch at one of its elegant restaurants or friendly pubs. We will explore the village and visit a hidden garden and a historic house.

Optional: taste one of England’s finest sparkling wines at a family-run vineyard before heading back to London.

What to bring: Hiking boots, snacks, water. Prepare for the weather with waterproof clothing or sunblock.

Make a positive impact donate to ReNature. The National Park has big plans to add an extra 13,000 hectares for nature – that’s an area three times the size of Portsmouth!

With your donation, the South Downs National Park Trust and the South Downs National Park Authority will be able to achieve our goal of seeing 33% of the South Downs managed for nature by 2030.
